(?s)applies the following effective flags to the remainder of the pattern: gxs

s modifier: single line. Allows a dot to match line terminators

<page> the literal text <page> (case sensitive)

Group 1( .*? (?: (?: <page> | </page> ) (*SKIP) (*FAIL) | {{Infobox ) .*? )

.*?any character, repeated any number of times

Non-Capturing Group(?: (?: <page> | </page> ) (*SKIP) (*FAIL) | {{Infobox )

1st Alternative (?: <page> | </page> ) (*SKIP) (*FAIL)

Non-Capturing Group(?: <page> | </page> )

1st Alternative <page>

<page> the literal text <page> (case sensitive)

2nd Alternative </page>

</page> the literal text </page> (case sensitive)

(*SKIP)acts like (*PRUNE), but the next unanchored match attempt starts where (*SKIP) was reached instead of at the next subject character

(*FAIL)forces the current match attempt to fail at this position

2nd Alternative {{Infobox

{{Infobox the literal text {{Infobox (case sensitive)

.*?any character, repeated any number of times
